Hi K.C.,
This is a great blog post! I am looking forward to getting your book.
In the past year I have personally made changes to my diet many of which you mention (one example I eat chia seeds every day!). Anecdotally, I've noticed the dietary changes have not only improved my physical health but also improved my overall sense of well-being.
It is important to encourage people dealing with stress and anxiety (or with other mental health and/or addiction issues) to eat live/sprouted foods, green foods, superfoods, fresh vegetables and fruits, a mixture of raw and cooked foods, good fats, and so on.
Recent studies prove that dietary improvements are very important for emotional health. One new study actually shows that fish oil may help prevent schizophrenia (-http://www.sci-tech-today.com/story.xhtml?story_id=0110008DQ6W1), something I've been hearing about for years.
I look forward to reading more of your blog posts.
Thanks,
Richard Zwolinski
