Going Grey Looking Great Live! – Episode #41

On October 3rd, I was scheduled to broadcast live from the Palazzo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas at the Going Grey Looking Great Convention. I was among some of the most empowered, beautiful women in the world. We were perched on the 49th floor inside a 2,500 sq foot suite over looking the city. It was all set to be a wonderful day of laughs, call in guests and surprises. However, little did I know that I would be the one who got surprised when the hotel front desk suddenly (and without warning) cut off our internet connection effectively kicking us off the air for quite a while. All proper arrangements had been made with the hotel and they knew what was going on. The event organizer went right to the phones. Meanwhile, we were trying to get our system back up and running. The show was nearly lost. A garbled mess of digital confusion.

I am fully aware that this broadcast is not of the quality that I would normally post. However, I have received so many messages from the attendees of this event in search of this show – as well as not to disappoint the tens of thousands that listen to my show each week, that I have decided to broadcast the show anyway.
It’s taken two expert audio engineers working for over a week to clean up the garbled, lost episode and restore it to the very best quality possible.
With bumps and bruises in mind, I give you the lost, and now restored (sort of) episode I call “The Going Grey Looking Great Lost Episode!”.
Diana and some of the girls where recently on “The Nate Berkus” show. Click on the picture to see the video. They left the day after this radio broadcast took place to fly to New York City to tape the show.
(Did you know that Nate’s mother lives right here in Las Vegas ?)

Steven! You are the graytest (but you already knew that)!! I can’t believe you were able to find and restore the Silver Sisters’ infamous Lost Episode from Going Gray Looking Great’s inaugural Vegas meet. I so enjoyed meeting you, loved your presentation at our seminar (how DID you get my $20 bill into that can of corn???), and was honored to chat with you about the joys of being an authentic Silver Sister…even if I’m only half transitioned to silver. Just listening to the found episode made me…how shall I say it…Stop Stressing Now!

Hi Amy, thanks for posting. Believe me it wasn’t easy. We had a digital mess to clean up and it cost me a pretty penny! But I thought to myself, I can’t disappoint such a Grayt group of women! We had such fun didn’t we? As for the can of corn… wait till you see what I am working on right now. I can’t give anything away.. but all I’ll say is “String Beans”… Okay.. that was enough!
It was a pleasure meeting you and I am sure our paths will cross again soon.
