Mediation is the most practical and healthy choice to make when facing a divorce. It helps you avoid the stress of litigation, saves you time and money, and helps you put the unpleasantness of divorce behind you as quickly and peace- fully as possible. Mediated agreements are reached in an informed, thoughtful and thorough way. As a result, they’re tailored to your individual and family circumstances, unlike a typical court judgment. With mediation, your family can heal and move past the difficulties of divorce with the peace of mind that you’ve handled things the best way possible for everyone involved.

Finally – the start-up action guide that leads you step by step through the rocky small-business launch cycle, showing you not just the best moves to make, but the big pitfalls to avoid – so you can save time, money – and a boatload of stress!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to take control of your life, do work you really love – and make more money?
All this and more can be yours as a small business owner. No wonder 2.5 million women a year – that’s 200,000 a month – catch start-up fever. If you’re one of them, you’ve come to the right place. Congratulations!
Why? Because beating the small-business odds isn’t easy. To do it, you’ll need support – and lots of it! Because the biggest challenges you’ll face aren’t economic, they’re emotional. Unless you can find the inner resources and staying power to rebound from setbacks and manage your fears, then the best business plan, the biggest bank account in town, and the savviest marketing strategy won’t help you when the going gets tough.
And it will get tough.
But here’s the good news: plenty of women have already mastered what we call “the small-business mind game” by tapping into their inner resources and ingenuity to rebound from the kind of setbacks that can derail even the most promising small-business dreams…
…like clients that bail and suppliers that fail you. Or phones that don’t ring and fax machines that don’t hum. And bank accounts look more like Mother Teresa’s than Madonna’s. Welcome to the world of small business!
Wouldn’t it be great to discover how women entrepreneurs in different industries handled the same emotional obstacles and the problems you’re worried about – from managing a project meltdown to surviving financially? Better yet, how about getting practical strategies and a dose of inspiration from women who’ve already navigated these tricky waters successfully? That’s what Birthing the Elephant is all about!

“I’m very excited in regards to joining forces and teams to add my support to Steve Diamond’s “Be Happy for Life Project”. I cannot think of a more needed creation that sets a new standard for Engagement Entertainment. In this collaboration you have my support and the wealth of my 25 years in the stadium theater business, where one of my main strengths is thinking outside any box and bending light around corners to make the impossible possible. You will also have the wealth of my international contacts, as well as my complete understanding of the mindset of the volunteer. In this case, our audience and their inherent desire to be a part of something extraordinary in their everyday lives, allowing them to move from a spectator position to an extraordinary cast member in the greatest show of all…life. I’m very honored and engaged to be a part of this life-changing event for myself and my team and the world.”
Hal Elrod is considered by most leaders to have already overcome and accomplished more — before the age of 30 — than most people do in a lifetime. After being hit head on by a drunk driver and found dead at the scene at age 20, he has gone on to become a bestselling author, award-winning keynote, youth, and college motivational speaker, international life & business coach, hall of fame business achiever, ultra-marathon runner, survivor of a near-fatal car accident, and most importantly – proud husband and father.
Hal has appeared on dozens of TV and radio shows across the country, and his story was featured in the all-time bestselling Chicken Soup for the Soul book series.
His bestselling book is Taking Life Head On! (The Hal Elrod Story) and he is the Creator of the not-so-obvious secret guaranteed to change your entire life (before 8:00 A.M.) known as The Miracle Morning®.
He’s been known as “Yo Pal Hal” (Mom’s idea for a ‘cool’ nickname) ever since he hosted his first radio show at age 15, and he became an all time record-breaking sales rep at age 19. But Hal’s real triumph came in the face of tragedy at age 20, when he was hit head on by a drunk driver at 70 mph and found dead at the scene. After six minutes without a heartbeat and six days in a coma, he woke to face the unimaginable reality that he had broken 11 bones, suffered permanent brain damage, and doctors said he might never walk again.
Defying the logic of doctors and the temptations of being a victim, Hal bounced back and proved that we are all capable of overcoming our challenges to achieve our dreams.

Half the size, twice the life
Back in 2002, She was 23 years old, about 19 stone (266lbs/120kg), UK dress size 26-28 and lost in miserable cycles of a non-existent love-life, uncontrollable overeating and complete denial. Her pride stopped her from discussing her weight with even her closest friends and if anyone tried to broach the subject with her, she strongly resented them for ‘interfering’.
Angela Stokes weight had steadily increased since her thyroid gland went under-active aged 11. By 16, she was 16 stone (224lbs/101kg) and her weight increased with her age, a stone a year, until by age 21, at her university graduation in 2000, she was 21 stone (294lbs/133kg). That was the heaviest she reached and when her health began to suffer so much that she thought she had diabetes, she knew this couldn’t continue.
