“They were fascinated with why people would call me and not a doctor or a therapist.” – Diamond says. “I think there is a growing mistrust in the world among the medical community and people are afraid to talk to someone who may document something that could in someway be used against them somehow in the future. My call system through AT&T is 100% anonymous and that has been the success of this program. People feel better by getting what burdens them off their chest and at the same time being in control of exactly who they are telling it to. They enjoy speaking with someone that is like them. Someone that really does care and has no way of contacting anyone they know. I have had so many people tell me how liberating this truly is. I think that’s why they call.”
Deep Secrets

It started in January of this year with an article I wrote here called “The Secrets We Keep”.
Sort of as an after thought at the end of the article I put a link to my telephone advice service.
Normally, I get calls from great people who are having typical issues we all as people face. Things like panic attacks, problems with stress at home or work and/or having relationship troubles. Normal people with normal life challanges who just need someone to talk with about them. That was the concept of the project from the beginning.
However, I never dreamed what would begin to happen once I posted that article about secrets on Jan 8th of this year. People began calling me to reveal their deepest, inner most secrets. Secrets they couldn’t tell anyone. Secrets that in some cases were killing them inside for more than 50 years as was the case with one caller. When this person was 8 years old, they accidentally set fire to their home killing their baby brother. They never confessed. Today, in their late 60′s it still haunts them everyday.

Someone once said: “In the beginning I gambled because it was fun. It was magical the way gambling freed me from the worries, fears and frustrations of everyday living. When the problems began, I convinced myself that one more bet would solve everything. But, one bet led to another, leaving me with the pain of lost money, lost time, lost self-respect, and the pain of losing control…” – Anonymous
Tens of millions visit casinos each year all over the world. Even more are placing bets from the comfort of their own homes on-line, right now. For the vast majority of them, it’s simply entertainment. However, what happens when the fun stops?
Secrets We Keep

I have been thinking a lot lately about the secrets we keep. Why do we keep secrets? Are we keeping them to protect ourselves? Or others we love? Are we afraid of being judged? Do we keep secrets out of fear? Are we afraid that by revealing our secrets that we will be rejected?
By pure definition: “Secrecy is the practice of hiding information from certain individuals or groups, perhaps while sharing it with other individuals. That which is kept hidden is known as the secret”.
However it’s much deeper then that. We all have secrets. We all keep them for different reasons. Secrecy is often controversial, depending on the content of the secret, the group or people keeping the secret, and the motivation for secrecy. There are government secrets, there are corporate and technology secrets. But the secrets I am speaking of are those that are deeply personal. The secrets we keep as individual people. The things we hide out of fear or shame or even sometimes out of true love.

Have you ever wondered what the real secret is to fulfilling your ever desire? Have you read every book on the law of attraction and still find it hard to manifest what you really want? It’s not rocket science. It’s not even difficult. We are like fish peering outside our bowl wondering if life would be better “out there”. The real secret to getting all you ever desired is overlooked by most people due to the fact that it’s so simple, they often find it hard to believe that it could actually work. Yet for centuries people have known that the there is a key to obtaining anything you want. Many have searched. Some have traveled far and wide as if what they were looking for was written on some stone tablet hidden deep within an unexplored forest or field. Like a treasure map just waiting to be unearthed. Once found, they would have all they ever desired.
